Went to do some digging today, no chance.
Surface was fine, not sticky, but the clods would not come off the spade.
After struggling with two 12' rows I gave up and went for a four hour walk with the dog.
How can a dog still manage to mark everything that takes its fancy after nearly four hours without a drink?

Not specifically on this blog, but you have previously commented on the cone clutch for the brilliant Howard 350. I need a new one as the present one is corroded badly. Do you know supplier please?
Many thanks
Herbert
Herbert, Ernest Doe & Sons covering all of East Anglia from the Wash to the Thames stock a wide range of Howard Parts and could source the clutch cone a year or two ago, see http://www.ernestdoe.com/storelocator.html.
RotoRob1212 on e-bay has his own clutch conversion for the 350, which does away with all the Howard clutch assembly, installing a simple centrifugal unit instead.
